How it all started
Calma Compania was born from our shared experiences during travels. We realized that the available mosquito sprays didn’t quite complement the beautiful places we visited or the other natural products we used—they were often too harsh, didn’t fit the thoughtful ambiance, and weren’t safe for children. One evening, Cornelius shared his vision of a mosquito repellent and travel care brand with Hemma’s husband, who instantly recognized the connection and said, "You need to talk to my wife—she’s working on the same idea."
That conversation, over two years ago, sparked this partnership. Now, after years of dedicated development, we’re thrilled to introduce Calma Compania and our first product a plant-based mosquito spray designed with both effectiveness and elegance in mind, perfect for conscious travelers and boutique hotels alike.
